Beginning on October 1, new rules and regulations go into effect that may impact your business! Are you and your staff ready? If you accept credit cards from customers to pay for goods, products and services, you must have a new credit card processing machine that accepts the new EMV chipped credit cards. The liability for a fraudulent purchase will shift to the merchant if a chipped credit card is accepted and the merchant does not have the new card reader technology. How does this affect electronic transactions? What about situations where the transaction does not occur at the processing terminal (phone orders, etc.)?
You are invited to a free, no obligation seminar on the new technology and card reader regulations. Business banking experts from Wells Fargo will provide important information and answer question on how this impacts you and how to minimize your liability. The South Pasadena Police Department will discuss what happens if a merchant is victimized, and what remedies may be available.
There is no cost and no obligation to attend.
Please RSVP (by e-mail) or by calling 626-441-2339. Hope to see you at this important seminar!
