Watch one of Huell Howser’s unseen episodes of “California’s Gold” at 7:00 p.m. in South Pasadena Public Library’s Community Room located at 1115 El Centro St; part of the South Pasadena Arts Crawl happening that day.
“The Ghost Mountain Experiment” follows the journey of rugged idealist Marshal South and his family as they flee the city hoping to live off the land in the Anza-Borrego Desert. Their back-to-nature dream ends as isolation and betrayal take their toll.
No tickets or reservations are necessary. A Q&A will follow with filmmaker John McDonald. The screening is presented by the South Pasadena Public Library and the Friends of the South Pasadena Public Library.
